I decided to wrote another journal, this time more profession oriented.
So what I would like to point out is that, having a hobby such as drawing and using programs to express your ideas and share it to the world really pays off. I don't mean just earning from but learning is my main focus here.
I will try to reveal it in short story of mine.
I started using computer programs to tune cars and make photomanipulations, which then over the years became my own designs and digital drawings. But still draw traditionally to conceptualize my ideas on paper before going on computer, because on paper line is infinitive where's' on computer it ends. Your hands are the most important part when designing, when head is stuck the hands still flow over the paper.
That means you can better yourself, the more you draw and understand and learn from your previous mistakes. One is for sure, learning the tools you use( programs, pencils, paints etc.) and common knowledge of your profession as drawing, graphics, anatomy, photography can really help you understand and help you focusing in your own course.
That being said, my learning and working with programs as it was hobby paid off. I'm currently a student of architecture and my knowledge of some of the programs I used before, help me to achieve realizing my ideas and having my own style of presenting them. So it's not just learning the programs and how to draw, but to achieve in making your own style of presenting your ideas and design work. That will make others appreciate you and remember you through the course of learning and in the future in your own profession.
To sum up, what's important is to build your foundations of your own style your self-recognition, to have as much common knowledge to understand the surroundings and the world you live in, because you don't know when you might need it, but I can tell you it can happen and you can be grateful for fulfilling your life in knowledge, plus, your portfolio shows how many things you can do
Thanks for reading it and if you have any questions just wrote them down in comments or send me a note.
